A Micro History of the World in Seven Compositions
This series of seven compositions presents a visual journey backward through time, beginning in 2009 and moving through the Middle Ages, ancient Egypt, prehistoric human civilizations, the age of the dinosaurs, and the origins of life, ultimately arriving in the moments following the Big Bang.
Each composition condenses a distinct era into a layered visual narrative, exploring humanity’s place within the vast timeline of Earth’s and the universe’s history through a deliberately Eurocentric lens.

Originally created as interactive animations in the now-outdated Flash format, these pieces combined motion design with interactive storytelling elements, including pop-up descriptions and external web links.
The animations were later adapted into GIF format to preserve and showcase the visual sequences in a contemporary, accessible format.
